You don't have to be a doctor to save life, Just Donate Blood

The shortage of blood supplies in the government hospitals is not a hidden fact. Every year, many poor persons have to suffer because of the unavailability of blood.

We, at the CDC, decided to contribute to this cause by orgainising a Blood Donation Camp. This camp was arranged to commemorate the K.L.E Society's Founders Day which falls on November 13. Read more »

Pollution Awareness Drive

Every year, Diwali is celebrated across India on a large scale. The primary attractions of Diwali are sweets and fire crackers. While sweets taken in large amount can affect an individual, the use of fire crackers in large numbers affects the whole community.

For this reason, we at Community Development Circle decided to create awareness among the students about the use of fire crackers during this festival. The major issues addressed were the Noise pollution & Air pollution and the health hazards they pose. Read more »

Blood Group Check Up Drive

On 13 October 2011, the Community Development Circle conducted a blood group check up drive for the students of 1st year B.E, B.Arch, M.C.A & M.B.A

This drive was conducted so as to include the vital blood group information on the permanant ID cards of the students. On a single day, from morning 9:00 am to 5:00 pm more than 1,000 students and some staff members got their blood groups checked up. Read more »
